Manchester United’s left-back Luke Shaw has implied that his England teammate might not actually be an Arsenal fan.
Bukayo Saka rose through Arsenal’s youth system to become a key player for the first team, but England teammate Luke Shaw hinted that Saka might support a different Premier League club.

Since making his debut for Arsenal in 2018, the 22-year-old has established himself as a regular starter under Mikel Arteta, scoring 58 goals in 226 appearances for the North London club.
Saka has also won an FA Cup and two Community Shields with Arsenal and has been part of the squad that finished second to Manchester City in the Premier League over the past two seasons.
Internationally, Saka has become an important player for England, earning 38 caps and scoring 12 goals since his debut in 2020.
Most recently, he scored for England against Switzerland, helping the team secure a place in the Euro 2024 semi-finals.
His goal ensured the match went to extra time, and he successfully converted his penalty in the shootout, leading to a 5-3 victory and a semi-final match against the Netherlands.
Luke Shaw, who made his first appearance of Euro 2024 in the quarter-final against Switzerland after returning from injury, is eager to join Saka in the semi-final against the Dutch. The winner will advance to face either France or Spain in the final.
During an interview on the Lions’ Den, Saka mentioned that his favorite career goal was one he scored for Arsenal against Manchester United.
In response, United defender Shaw humorously suggested that this might be because Saka is actually a fan of the Old Trafford club.
Shaw said: “It’s because B supports United, that’s why it’s his favourite…”
Saka replied: “You’re lying bro.”
But Shaw responded: “B, come on, be honest, we can ask anyone in the squad!”
Saka a United fan? Surely not.
